Toes

Toes are the most beautiful part of a baby. How cute they are!

It is like a flower with five petals. They are soft as the petals are. Slowly, they move as the petals move in the breeze. The lines on the toes are like the lines on the petals.

The foot is like a stem, but it is a pink stem. When they stretch, all the petals and stem show their original beauty and liveliness.

There is a mole on the little toe, like a honey bee on a flower. This honey bee never flies away.
The nails are like soft layers of the toes. They are as small as a rice grain.

The toes never know that they grow every day and every second. They never know their journey in their life. They might travel to holy places, tourist places, war grounds, and space stations. But, the safest place they always find is under their mother’s warmth.  Take care, toes!!

A tree

Trees are one of the most phenomenal creations of God. A tree stands for strength, shade, kindness, respect, humility, warmth, and peace. Have you ever looked at a tree for a long time? I have.

During my college years, I was staying in a hostel with my friends on the second floor. There was a rain tree that literally grew into the corridor in front of my room. The richness of the tree lay in the dense branches with fresh leaves and flowers. When you looked at it from the top floor, you could see its spread of dense branches. When you saw it from near, you could feel the patience.

The leaves fold in the evening and wake up early in the morning. The flowers of the tree are like thin pink brushes with tiny yellow tips at the top. They are so soft and tender for this gigantic tree. During the rainy season, the leaves fold and enjoy the drops.

You can learn many things from trees. They show kindness to those who need shade. They show strength in the heavy rain. They give hope and energy when you stand under them  in the hot sun. They do not have an expectation from anyone, but they  help us in many ways. Love you, trees. J

Sky

Sometimes, the sky also has different moods during a day. In the morning, it gives a vibrant smile with sun beams. It gives you a feeling that the day has started. The leaves in the garden wait for their turn to do photosynthesis for that day. Dogs and cats yawn, stretch, and go to sleep for the next few hours. People start moving around for their day-to-day work.

In the afternoon, the sun seems to be very angry with us. The good thing is that, it is equally angry with everyone. It sucks the energy of all under it. The leaves in the garden are tired now and they couldn’t resist the heat. The dogs and cats are not seen outside, searching for shade and to quench their thirst.

Later in the day, the sky is not so happy with the sun and decides to show kindness to all. It showers with a cool breeze called the rain. The leaves in the garden are happy and so are the others.

The sun slowly disappears as the moon appears on the other side.

To me, the moon means silence. Everyone enjoys the moonlight, because it gives the warmth of a mother. The moonlight and billions of stars tell you thousands of stories.

My husband's love

Last week, we shifted our flat to another flat that is close to the office. We had to shift because my flat owner had to relocate from Noida which is in the northern part of India. We decided to shift to a place that is close to me and to my husband’s office. We also had to ensure that the new place is close to my son’s school. So we took the route list from my son’s transport facilities and tried to find vacancies in the apartments where the school bus picks-up and drops. We found a flat with all these criteria and finally moved to the new flat.
My husband with so much of love had brought 3D, LED, Samsung TV last year from Dubai. He shifted that with great care to this flat. Because of the small kids and lower wooden rack, we decided to wall mount the TV. A person came to fix the TV, but he couldn’t because he found some screws missing.

He kept the TV on the sofa and started searching for the screws. Meanwhile, my son was playing and he wanted to drive his BMW miniature on the sofa. Though I was carefully watching the person searching for the screws and my son, it is so happened that my son unknowingly placed his knee on the TV screen. The LED glass broke, and I was helpless to explain this to my husband. My husband’s love broke and therefore no happiness at home.
